AATON AMINIMA
The Aminima represents Aaton's dedication to advancing and transforming film making with unobtrusive efficiently designed cameras. While maintaining the features we've come to expect from any Aaton camera such as: In Camera AatonCode II, Super-16 gate, rock solid registration, super-bright viewfinder, the Aminima is also the smallest sync sound Super16mm camera in existence. A mere five pounds fully loaded. In addition to having the standard ability to receive ASCII or SMPTE timecode to be burned onto the film at the gate the A-minima can also generate AatonCode II to be passed to any other ASCII device. The camera can be delivered with either a standard PL mount or a Nikon still photo mount. While the lens centering and gate are both locked in Super-16mm there is a single indication in the Ground Glass markings for the Regular 16 frame. The camera also comes with a built in intervalometer for timelapse photography and an incident light meter.
