Shift Free, Flicker Free, Heat Free

At the top of the MicroPro Hybrid housing is a convenient integrated dimmer dial that puts instant 100% to 0 dimming with minimal color shift right at the operator’s fingertips. Output is flicker free and heat free and remains consistent. For more versatility, an integrated filter holder allows for work with the three included color/diffusion gels. An integrated filter holder on the back of the unit allows for carrying extra gels. To enable the strobe function simply plug in the included Strobe Sync Cable.

Power Saver

Litepanels MicroPro Hybrid produces 1.5 hours of continuous output from 6 AA batteries or 5-6 hours from Energizer e2 Lithium cells. It generates almost no heat, so it’s remarkably easy to handle. And the system can be run off of either standard or rechargeable batteries. Power can be supplied optionally through a convenient 5-16V input jack located on the back of the unit. In addition there is an optional DV Adapter Plate for Panasonic, Canon and Sony batteries.

DV/DSLR Friendly Design

The compact, low-profile Litepanels MicroPro Hybrid head is ideally suited for mounting on a DV or DSLR camera. Measuring just 5.5” W x 3.75” H x 1. 5” D (139.7mm x 95.25mm x 38.1mm), the head weighs just 10.5 ounces (300g). NEW - Litepanels Sola LED Fresnel Series

Litepanels introduces Revolutionary New Sola Fresnels

Litepanels®, A Vitec Group company, brings the Fresnel into the 21st century with the new Sola series. Offering beam control of 70° to 10°, the revolutionary new daylight-balanced Solas provide the controllability and single-shadow properties inherent in a Fresnel light, but utilize just a fraction of the power of conventional fixtures.

Like all Litepanels, Sola Fresnels feature instant dimming from 100% to 0 with no noticeable color shift. The SolaENG provides manual focus and dimming control via camera lens style ergonomic controls. The Sola6 and Sola12 provide on-fixture motorized control of focus and local dimming via a convenient touch screen, and are also remote-controllable via their integrated DMX interface. Output is fully flicker free, and remains consistent even as the battery voltage goes down.

Employing Litepanels’ ultra-efficient LEDs, Solas draw 90% less power than conventional tungsten lights, with very little heat generation. Additionally, Litepanels’ cool-to-the-touch lighting systems substantially cut down on air conditioning requirements in studio applications. Importantly, the Solas weigh only 1/3 as much as their HMI predecessors with no external ballasts. The fixtures have a universal AC input and can be used on any 85-245 volt power worldwide.

Litepanels Solas are available in three models

• The Sola6 draws 75 watts yet produces output equivalent to a 650W tungsten unit, and weighs 6 lbs. (2.7kg).
• The Sola12 draws just 250 watts yet produces output equivalent to a 2000W tungsten and weighs only 14 lbs. (6.4kg).
• Designed for both on-camera and off-camera mounting, the SolaENG is only 4” x 4” x 5” (102mm x 102mm x 127mm) and weighs just 10 ounces (.28kg).
• Employing a 3” (7.62cm) lens, it draws 30 watts yet produces output equivalent to a 250W tungsten.
• The SolaENG runs on 10-20VDCsources such as camera batteries, or via an AC power adapter.

Litepanels 1X1 is lightweight, silent, heat-free, sets up quickly and offers "look-through" capability so you can see the actor in front of you. Postition the Litepanel comfortably close to a subject's face to fill it with unmatched soft, wraparound light.

• Has the same LED technology incorporated into the Litepanels Mini system.
