SWIT's unique 90° light guide technology allows the PL-E90 to output bright, soft, and evenly spread light. Meanwhile, the slim and portable light body makes it ideal for interview kits and field video productions.
Laser Dots for Enhanced Brightness
Traditional edge-mounted LED lights often suffer from brightness limitations. Half of the light can be lost to the backside, even with a reflection board. SWIT's innovative technology tackles this issue by adding laser dots with calculated spacing on the reflection glass. These dots converge the multi-angled edge light, directing it 90° towards the front with minimal light loss. This allows the slim design to achieve high brightness.
Impressive Illumination
With a power output of 90W, the PL-E90 delivers a luminance of 2200 lux at a distance of one meter (center). This makes it significantly brighter than other LED panels of similar size. The effective beam angle reaches 70°, with a 50% decline at the edges. Additionally, the PL-E90 supports smooth and flicker-free 0-100% PWM digital dimming.
Bi-Color Temperature for Versatility
The PL-E90 features continuously adjustable color temperature between 2700K and 6500K. This is achieved by alternating between 2700K and 6500K LEDs within the panel. This bi-color functionality allows you to match various lighting conditions or create specific moods for your scene.
Exceptional Color Accuracy
The PL-E90 boasts a very high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 98 and a Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) of 99. CRI measures a light source's ability to accurately reveal the colors of objects compared to natural light. TLCI focuses specifically on a camera sensor's ability to capture colors accurately. Compared to standard LED lights with a CRI/TLCI of around 80-85, the PL-E90 ensures that the original colors of your subjects are faithfully reproduced.
Informative LCD Display
The PL-E90 features a rear LCD screen that displays critical information, including the current dimmer percentage, color temperature value, DMX channel, CH channel, and remaining battery level.
Quick Adjustment Mode for Efficiency
The PL-E90 streamlines adjustments with a quick adjust mode. Pressing the dimmer knob allows you to switch from 1% to 10% increments for faster brightness control. Similarly, pressing the color temperature knob switches from 50K increments to a selection of commonly used color temperatures: 2700K, 3200K, 4500K, 5600K, and 6500K.
Wide Range Power Input
The PL-E90 offers a wide input voltage range of 11-36V. It features a 4-pin XLR DC socket and comes equipped with a V-mount or Gold mount plate for powering with batteries (V-mount plate is default).
