LeftField Compatibility
Using our Open•Up Quick Release system, the C300 Mk III Base Kit mounts securely to any ARRI dovetail, allowing you to quickly switch shooting styles. For production days where the camera is moving from gimbal to tripod to shoulder rig; the kit provides a consistent mounting point.

Handheld Comfort
At the top end of the camera, our dedicated top plate and 1/4″-20 top handle provide a steady and comfortable grip for handheld shooting, or steadying the camera from above. The top plate is also modular and slots into a dovetail of its own, allowing you to quickly remove it for adjustment without unscrewing anything.
15mm LWS Support
The LeftField baseplate is configured to the 15mm LWS rod standard – one of the most common industry setups. This allows you to mount matte boxes, follow-focus motors or other accessories from the rods, as well as balance the rig for improve weight distribution. The top plate also comes with its own dual 15mm rod brackets that can be used for viewfinders, lens supports or other rod-based components – particularly useful for drone or gimbal use.

Compatibility
This LeftField 3 Canon C300 Mk III Base Kit is designed to work with the Canon C300 Mk III, but is also compatible with the Canon C500 Mk II. The baseplate accommodates the 15mm LWS rod standard and mounts to any standard ARRI dovetail plate.
