Normal li-ion batteries offer 100W/8A output and are suitable for ENG cameras. Digital cinema cameras however, such as the Arri ALEXA, require around 85W high draw, which is too heavy for the normal Li-ion batteries resulting in a shorter battery life. This can be further exacerbated if accessories are also being powered through the camera, such as monitors or focus accessories, driving the total power above 100w.

240Wh/16.7Ah High Capacity
The S-8183S high load battery consists of 24x 18650 battery cells, and can reach 240Wh/16.7Ah. It can run a 30W ENG cameras for approx. 8 hours and approx 2.5 hours for the ARRI Alexa camera
6A Fast Charging
The S-8183S supports 6A fast charging, to save more than 50% charging time, and can be charged from 0 to 80% after 2.5 hours, and fully charged within 3.8 hours when using a compatible SWIT charger.
Build-in D-tap DC Output Socket
A D-tap DC output socket is equipped on the top side of S-8183S battery, for DC14.4V (Nominate) connection, such as on-camera lights, monitors, wireless transmitter, etc.
The Max Power from D-tap is 120W, 10A.
4-level LED Power Indicator
On the side of the battery, there is a 4-level LED power indicator to quickly check the remaining battery capacity.
