Currently in production in Sydney, A Place To Call Home is a new series by Channel Seven from the creators of Packed to the Rafters. Set in 1950s regional Australia, Seven has described the show as “sweeping, grand and epic.”
Shot by John Stokes ACS, it is also the first series in Australia to be shot on Lemac’s latest flagship camera, the Sony F65. The F65 features an 8K sensor, recording 4K or HD to SR Memory.
The camera delivers superb HD images off the sensor, and the production has also made use of it’s 4K functionality for plates and effects shots. Pictures that Lemac have had the opportunity to see on the Baselight at Digital Pictures thus far have looked fantastic!
